Tattoo after care

Uppon getting tattoed

-If we applied a second skin type film: Try to keep the film on for 3-4 days. It is normal for the tattoo to create a bubble of plasma and ink, if possible try to drain the liquid through a wrinkle in the film but if it doesn't come off leave it alone, this liquid will not harm the tattoo in any way. At the end of this period, or if the film slides off, gently remove it in the shower and follow the instructions below.

-If we have placed a cling wrap film: After 1-2 hours of the session's end, disinfect your hands well, remove the film and follow the instructions below.

Treatment Instructions

Wash the tattoo with warm water and neutral soap. I recommend a pharmacy soap or one designed for sensitive skin. Dry the area gently with paper towels, without rubbing, just let the paper soak the water. Apply tattoo specific healing cream as a thin transparent layer. A small pod is enough to cover a palm sized tattoo!

The tattoo might expel plasma and excess ink. You should wash and treat it twice a day to always keep the tattoo clean and protected from elements such as dust and dirt. It is normal for the tattoo to be swollen, red and/or itchy. Do not submerge the tattoo while it is healing and avoid swimming pools, beaches, gyms and saunas. After the tattoo has completely scabbed off, you can start washing that area with the regular soap you'd normally use on the rest of your body. Also use a normal moisturizer. Use cream whenever you feel the tattoo is dry or itchy. Never forget to ALWAYS use sun protection so that your tattoo lasts abd stays beautiful for many years to come.

Et voila! You are ready for another one!

F.A.Q.

Do you only do color tattoos? - No, I also tattooing black, it's just not my preference because I'm passionate about colours.

Is there anything you can't eat/drink? - Before tattooing do not consume alcoholic drinks! It helps to drink lots of water and eat as healthy as possible but I don't believe there is one food to avoid. After tattooing, you can now drink alcohol.

Do colour tattoos age faster than black tattoos? - It's a myth. All tattoos should be cared for and protected from the sun equally. A well-done application by an experienced and specialized tattoo artist obviously extends its lifespan, but we cannot forget that any tattoo ages, whether in color or black, after all it lives in a living organ.

After getting a tattoo, can I go to the gym? - In the 1st week, avoid going to the gym, hot and humid environments, swimming pool, sea, or other places where bacteria can easily spread and potentially create a risk of infection.
